Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane #2
In "The Jealousy Thing," Mary Jane navigates the highs of landing the lead in a Shakespeare play while grappling with tensions at school, where Flash’s jealousy of Peter boils over. As she bonds with the drama class and glimpses Spider-Man teaming up with Firestar under the city lights, her growing feelings for Peter collide with his quiet pain—especially when she notices his black eye. When Flash’s bullying reaches a breaking point, Mary Jane confronts him with a choice, only to face a painful rejection. The issue, written by Sean McKeever and illustrated by Takeshi Miyazawa with colors by Christina Strain and lettering by Dave Sharpe, features a cover by Miyazawa and Norman Lee, capturing the emotional weight of a moment that’s equal parts schoolyard drama and superhero shadow.
