This anthology issue contains three science fiction stories. "Spies from Another World" features alien invaders preparing to conquer Earth, with military forces mobilizing to defend the planet. "The Enigma of Pluto" follows Major Tom Bracken and Major Hal Cosnin as they investigate whether hostile aliens are planning an attack on Earth, with suspicions about whether the Plutonians want peaceful scientific study or war. "The Unexpected Visitor" depicts a Cold War scenario where an Earth-Mars expedition discovers a Martian ship, leading to tense negotiations between Earth forces and Martian beings over territorial control of Mars and the threat of intergalactic conflict.
