Sonic Universe #92
Part two of "The Case of the Pirate Princess" arrives with a cover that throws you right into the thick of nautical peril — a massive, chain-bound crocodile dominates the scene aboard what appears to be a pirate vessel, looming over a small purple-armored figure and a bee-like character perched on a floating wooden crate labeled "Dangers of the Deep," with a blue robot-like figure standing guard at the ship's bow and shark fins cutting through the churning waves below. Tracy Yardley's pencils and Jim Amash's inks bring real energy to the tension between captor and captive, making it clear this four-part arc isn't pulling any punches. With Aleah Baker and Ian Flynn co-writing and Adam Bryce Thomas handling interior art, this 2017 Archie Comics entry in the Sonic Universe line has a confident creative team steering the adventure.
