The penultimate chapter of the "Total Eclipse" arc arrives in Sonic Universe #69, and the cover — penciled and inked by Tracy Yardley and Jim Amash — sets the tension perfectly: a menacing, dark-armored figure looms over the Master Emerald, declaring "The power is mine now!" while a horrified Knuckles and Shadow look on helplessly in the background. The tagline "Knuckles, you had ONE job!" gives it a fun, self-aware edge that makes this 2014 Archie issue hard to pass up.
