Sonic Universe #48

Part three of the "Chaotix Quest" arc brings the Chaotix crew front and center in this 2013 Archie Comics entry, with Vector the Crocodile chained up on the desert ground as a cool, sharp-eared antagonist stands over him delivering a breezy "What's up, Croc?" Espio, Charmy, and the rest of the team look on with urgent concern from the rocky background, setting a scene full of tension and dry humor in equal measure. Sonic Universe continues to shine a well-deserved spotlight on these fan-favorite characters, and with "Worlds Collide" building in the background, issue #48 feels like a genuinely exciting moment in the series.
