Sonic Universe #39

Part three of the "Scrambled" arc brings another chapter of this 2012 Archie series, with cover art by Jamal Peppers and Jim Amash. The cover centers on a large, medal-adorned robotic figure striking a confident saluting pose against a bold red-and-white insignia backdrop, while a wide-eyed, tongue-wagging Sonic peers in from the upper corner with clear alarm. It's a fun visual tension between the imposing mechanized commander and Sonic's expressive disbelief that makes this one genuinely hard to put back on the shelf.
