Sonic Universe #2

Part 2 of "The Shadow Saga" finds Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic, and Rouge the Bat surrounded on all sides by an arsenal of gun turrets, and the cover by Tracy Yardley captures that desperate, outnumbered energy with real flair. The trio looks ready to fight their way out regardless of the odds — Shadow's signature black-and-red intensity contrasting nicely with Sonic's cool blue and Rouge's sleek white. It's a strong 2009 entry in Archie's Sonic Universe series, with Ian Flynn writing and Yardley handling both pencils and inks inside as well.
