Hawkeye takes center stage on this April 1988 Marvel entry in the Solo Avengers lineup, with cover art by M. D. Bright and Joe Rubinstein placing the archer in taut mid-draw while a blond figure crawls from the water at his feet — and a circular inset warns that "Death Stalks an Avenger," showing a cloaked figure facing down a massive skull.
