Skippy's Own Book of Comics #[nn]
In "Northrup Plays Tricks on Man's Golf Ball," young Skippy, confined to his window, orchestrates a small adventure for his friend Yacob, sending him to buy ice cream with a quarter—only to watch, through his imagination, as the errand takes an unexpected turn. With every detail drawn and written by Percy Crosby, this 1934 free comic captures a quiet moment of childhood mischief and miscommunication, all from the vantage of a window.
