In "null," young caddy Skippy finds himself the unintended target of a golfer’s repeated mishits, each ball ricocheting off a tree and striking him in the head. When the golfer promises to pick up where they left off the next day, Skippy braces for more trouble—only to discover the tree has vanished, leaving behind a curious new challenge.

In "null," a baseball game takes a bizarre turn when Hoiman, glued to his radio, watches his team struggle—only for fortune to shift when the right-fielder suddenly drops the ball, seemingly distracted by a bee sting. The mystery deepens as Northrup is seen at the ballpark with a slingshot, walking away from a newly made hole in the outfield wall.

In "null," Skippy convinces Beansy to share a quarter for sodas on the way to a baseball game, only to arrive at the ballpark and reveal there’s just one hole to watch through—meaning they’ll have to take turns during the innings.
