John faces Mr. Moth, the crook attracted to valuable things that glow in the dark. Moth's spree starts with a rooftop clock painted with $10,000 worth of radium. John stops Mr. Moth's blinding light by filling the air with coal dust. Next up on the Moth's agenda is a statue of Atlas coated with phosphorus to make it glow in the dark. When the Manhunter arrives, Mr. Moth escapes by endangering the crowd, drawing John's attention away from him. Finally Mr. Moth grabs a gold planetarium display with a glowing sun, but he walks into John's trap and ends up in a jail cell.
