As the Dark Detective and his young partner begin to piece together the mystery, a cryptic clue left behind by the victim hints at a far more calculated crime than a mechanical malfunction. Written by Bill Finger and illustrated by Sheldon Moldoff, with inks by Charles Paris, this 1958 classic features a cover by Moldoff that captures the eerie tension of the scene.
