Rogers tries to get inside the Hai-Dai by letting them abduct Shang-Chi, but the plot fails. Prince of Orphans and Valkyrie do manage to capture a Shadow Council soldier alive. Fu Manchu is doubtful of the Council's ability to perform the ritual to restore his health, but the Council has a surprise ace in the hole.
