The tagline "…she began to feel like his shadow, cast unknown in the darkness" sets a mood of tension and unease perfectly suited to the pulp noir world of the Sandman Mystery Theatre. With "The Python: Act Three of Four" bringing the arc toward its conclusion, writers Matt Wagner and Steven T. Seagle, alongside artist Warren Pleece, deliver exactly the shadowy intrigue this series does so well.
