Rom, Starshine and the Gremlin bury Rom's cloned human body. The Gremlin leads the Spaceknights to a Russian compound that has been taken over by Wraiths. Even though they no longer trust the government, the Soviet Super Soldiers agree to track down enemies of the state who have wreaked havoc in the Khystym region. They battle Rom and his allies until Rom realizes that they are mutants and not Wraiths. The two groups agree to unite against a common foe, just as the Wraiths attack.
