Rom #29
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDeep in the earth, Rom the Spaceknight charges through a mine shaft, his powerful armored form wielding his Neutralizer as a glowing figure waits at the tunnel's far end — it's a tense, atmospheric setup that makes "Down in the Mines…" feel genuinely ominous. Al Milgrom's pencils and Joe Sinnott's inks give the underground setting real weight and shadow, with the wooden support beams and rocky walls closing in around the action. Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema bring their talents to the interior of this April 1982 issue, whose story title alone — "Even a Spaceknight Can Cry!" — hints at something more emotionally charged than a typical sci-fi slugfest.
