Rick and Morty Go to Hell #[nn]
In "Rick and Morty Go to Hell: Chapter One," Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer, and Jerry find themselves stranded in a blazing, demon-infested afterlife Rick insists isn’t actually Hell. As the group navigates the scorching "Desert of Truth" and endure a humiliating cinematic reckoning of their worst moments, Summer escapes into a surreal musical fantasy—only to face a twist that undercuts her escape. Written by Ryan Ferrier and brought to life with sharp, expressive art by Constanza Oroza—pencils, inks, and cover by the same—this issue blends absurdist humor with existential dread, all rendered in bold colors by Sarah Stern and tight lettering by Crank!.

Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer, and Jerry have been dropped into a hot, fiery place filled with tortured souls and demons, which Rick still refuses to recognize as Hell. Summer walks away from her ever-arguing parents and creates for herself a life based on a romantic musical - with an unhappy surprise ending. Now in the circles of Hell, Rick and Morty are subject to a theatrical showing of a "movie of their collective shame" and the blistering heat and ceaseless vitriol of a sarcastic sun in the "Desert of Truth". Jerry stirs up the damned souls against Rick but, typically, takes things too far.
