Rick and Morty Go to Hell #1
In "Rick and Morty Go to Hell: Chapter One," Rick and Morty wake up in a scorching, soul-crushing realm of torment, where demons and damned souls alike seem to be having a grand time—except for Rick, who’s convinced it’s just another bad trip. With Beth, Summer, and Jerry already trapped in this infernal landscape, the duo’s usual banter turns into a desperate battle of wits and willpower as they face everything from ravenous gila monsters to soul-sucking bureaucracy. Written by Ryan Ferrier and brought to life with fiery intensity by artist Constanza Oroza—whose dynamic pencils and inks define the cover and interior—this 3.99 USD comic from 2020 is a chaotic, darkly comic descent into the afterlife, where even the Devil might be running on a spreadsheet.

Rick and Morty are dropped into a hot, fiery place filled with tortured souls and the demons who torture them, with no recollection of how they got there. Morty immediately recognizes it as Hell, while Rick refuses to accept it. Beth, Summer, and Jerry are also there, making Rick's afterlife experience all the more... Hellish. Rick and Morty spend the entire issue alternating between arguing over whether it is - or isn't - Hell and suffering various types of torture ranging from giant ravenous gila monsters to endless bureaucratic waiting... finally, being shoved into the circles of Hell.
