Rick and Morty Go to Hell #3
In "Rick and Morty Go to Hell: Chapter Three," Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer, and Jerry find themselves trapped in a scorching realm of torment, where Rick stubbornly insists it’s not actually Hell. Swallowed by a massive sandworm, the duo navigates its fiery digestive tract before emerging in a deceptive spa-like waiting area, where Jerry’s ill-timed attempt to calm the furious souls backfires spectacularly. Written by Ryan Ferrier and brought to life with bold, dynamic art by Constanza Oroza—pencils and inks—and vibrant colors by Sarah Stern, this 2020 Oni Press issue delivers another chaotic, darkly comedic descent into the absurd. The cover, also by Constanza Oroza, captures the series’ signature blend of grotesque humor and surreal dread.

Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer, and Jerry have been dropped into a hot, fiery place filled with tortured souls and demons, which Rick still refuses to recognize as Hell. While continuing to traverse the brutally hot "Desert of Truth", Rick and Morty are swallowed by a giant sandworm and must make their way through the creature's digestive system. They emerge in what looks like a comforting spa - a sort of "waiting area" before their next trial. Jerry realizes that he's gone too far in riling up the damned against Rick and ineptly tries to walk it back, only to have the mob turn on him.
