Music student Louise is warned away from jazz musician Drummer by arranger Ted. Louise starts smoking marijuana with Drummer and his pals, and becomes the band’s new piano player. However, she collapses from over-use of drugs and Drummer abandons her. Ted takes her to his family’s farm so she can kick the habit and they fall in love. When Drummer returns to town, Louise goes to see him and realises that his music stinks and drugs are bad. She is reunited with Ted and they’ll make beautiful music together.
