“The Mad Doll Man”

In "The Mad Doll Man," Earthman Steve Grimm crash-lands on the alien world of Sarn, where low gravity grants him super strength. After fending off monstrous brutes and rescuing the mysterious Suanna, he finds himself imprisoned by her people—only to free a cosmic prisoner and claim a legendary sword in a desperate bid for freedom. Written by Gardner Fox and illustrated by Jack Katz, with inks by Vince Colletta and letters by Sam Rosen, this 1973 Skywald classic features a cover by Jeff Jones that captures the eerie, otherworldly tension of a man caught between worlds.
