In "Don't Die Up There Stanley," a nightclub comedian named Stanley delivers his usual act mocking circus freaks—unaware his audience is made up of actual freaks from a traveling circus in town. When the crowd laughs at his jokes, he’s stunned, then pressured to keep going, pushing himself past his limits until he collapses and is hospitalized.
