On the run, Kathy, Anastasia and Boyd battle the Medusa Web in San Diego. Stasi accidentally causes the death of Relampago by tripping her with a light cord. Stasi's fingers are severed in the act and passes out after spending all her energy healing them back on. Kathy is taken out by Potiphar who shoots her in the back. Boyd surrenders when confronted by dozens of armed police. Over the wishes of Babel, the trio are taken into C.I.A. custody by agents working for the Skipper. Tyrone flies over the remains of Pittsburgh. Unknown to him, he is recorded by U.S. spy technology.
