The hit series returns with Proof: Endangered #1, kicking off a new arc as a large suited figure strides forward with quiet authority, pistol in hand, while a crowd of distressed, ghostly figures surges behind him in various states of panic and anguish. Riley Rossmo's cover work captures that signature blend of the eerie and the grounded — unsettling creatures rendered in pale, washed-out tones pressed against the composed, earth-toned solidity of the central figure. Alex Grecian, Riley Rossmo, and colorist Frank Zigarelli are back together in 2010, and this opening image makes a strong case that "Endangered Part One" has plenty of strange territory left to explore.
