Proof Endangered #2

Riley Rossmo's cover for this 2011 Image Comics installment layers three figures in an unsettling composition: a determined young dark-haired woman in the foreground, a scarred and weathered man looming just behind her, and above them both a snarling, mask-like demonic creature wreathed in twisting tendrils. The contrast between the two human figures and that lurking supernatural threat gives the image a quiet, coiled tension that suits the "Endangered" storyline well. Alex Grecian and Rossmo continue building their cryptozoological world with Frank Zigarelli's warm, textured colors adding real atmosphere to the second chapter.
