While filming "Mr. Brown goes to Washington," Commander Jones invites Garboil's cast to a party. Jones has invented a bombsight to use against the Axis powers. He is kidnapped from the party and Black Cat and Rick separately decide to investigate. They find Garboil dead. They trace Garboil's killers and Jones' kidnappers to a boat on its way to meet a U-boat. They stop the Nazis and rescue both Jones and Garboil, who is alive. They discover that the dead Garboil was the director's twin, Fritz, who abandoned the Nazis when he saw how Americans lived.
