Plastic Man #2

Part two of Gail Simone, Adriana Melo, and Kelly Fitzpatrick's six-issue mini-series delivers a wonderfully offbeat cover by Bilquis Evely: Plastic Man has contorted his own body into a tight knot around himself, his signature white goggles catching a gleam of light as he peers out with a sly, self-satisfied grin. It's a perfectly absurd image that captures the hero's elastic charm in a single, cleverly composed shot — and with a chapter title like "Where the *&^% Is Pado Swakatoon?", this 2018 series is clearly embracing every bit of its irreverent spirit.
