Old Man Logan #6
Andrea Sorrentino's cover for issue #6 of this 2016 series is a striking study in stark contrasts — a snow-swept night sky rendered almost entirely in black and white, with Logan standing atop a massive outstretched hand, claws drawn and blood-red slashes cutting dramatically across the foreground. The minimalist palette makes those crimson streaks hit all the harder, giving the image a quiet menace that feels perfectly matched to the "Bordertown: Part Two" chapter inside. Jeff Lemire, Sorrentino, and colorist Marcelo Maiolo are clearly a creative team comfortable with atmosphere as much as action.
