Old Man Logan #5
Andrea Sorrentino's stark, snow-drenched cover sets a fittingly grim tone for "Bordertown: Part One" — an aged, bloodied Logan crouches low against a pitch-black blizzard, his adamantium claws trailing red as a smear of blood cuts across the foreground like a wound on the page itself. The stark two-tone palette — white snow, black void, and those sharp accents of crimson — gives the image a raw, almost woodcut intensity that's hard to shake. Jeff Lemire, Sorrentino, and colorist Marcelo Maiolo launch a brand-new arc here, and this cover alone makes a compelling case for what's to come.
