Nightwing #9

Part of DC Universe Rebirth's Nightwing run, issue #9 drops Dick Grayson into a desperate situation — the cover by Marcio Takara shows Nightwing ensnared in massive purple tentacles while a determined Superboy strains to pull him free, cape billowing dramatically against a fiery orange sky. The two heroes' expressions sell the urgency perfectly, with Takara's dynamic composition making the monstrous creature feel genuinely overwhelming. Writer Tim Seeley and colorist Marcelo Maiolo round out a creative team that clearly knows how to stage a good team-up.
