Nightwing #34

The tagline says it all — "Death from Above!" — and the cover delivers: Nightwing is engulfed mid-fall by a frenzied swarm of birds, claws and wings pressing in from every direction as he struggles with his escrima sticks in what looks like a genuinely desperate moment. Javier Fernández's linework captures a wonderful, chaotic energy against that bold amber background, giving the whole image a sense of real urgency. With Tim Seeley and Fernández wrapping up "Raptor's Revenge" in this 2018 conclusion, issue #34 promises a chapter of Nightwing's ongoing saga that fans of the series won't want to skip.
