Nightwing #12

Part three of the "Blüdhaven" arc puts Dick Grayson in serious trouble — the cover shows a massive, bat-masked monster looming over a defeated Nightwing, gripping him by the collar as he hangs limp and helpless against a fiery, scorched landscape. Marcus To's art makes the size and menace of the creature impossible to ignore, its scarred blue-and-black frame and wide, fang-filled grin radiating genuine threat. If you've been following this 2017 Rebirth run by Tim Seeley, this is the issue where the tension cranks up considerably.
