Iron Man and Ms. Marvel investigate the Purifiers' base where everyone has been slaughtered. They realize that one of the victims is a student at Xavier's school and Carol volunteers to go talk to the X-Men about it. She discreetly tells Scott and Emma about Jay's death but the New X-Men are right outside the door and X-23 lets the other kids know what the adults are saying. Emma lashes out at Carol for the lack of help the Avengers have given the X-Men since M-Day. Meanwhile, Nimrod seeks out Forge for repairs and threatens to kill Storm if he doesn't comply.
