“Crusade Part 4 of 4”

In "Crusade Part 4 of 4," Stryker and his Purifiers launch a brutal assault on the X-Mansion, wielding a Nimrod gauntlet to dismantle Sentinel Squad ONE. As the X-Men and New X-Men fight back, casualties mount—Onyxx and Cannonball are gravely injured, and Quill falls. But when Dust, long thought dead, reappears and turns the tide, the battle takes a shocking turn. With Elixir’s powers twisted in a devastating act, Stryker’s fate is sealed in a chilling transformation, and Nimrod activates, setting his sights on Forge. Written by Craig Kyle and Chris Yost, with dynamic art by Paco Medina and Juan Vlasco, and a cover by Medina and Vlasco, this issue delivers relentless tension and pivotal consequences.

Stryker has taken out Sentinel Squad ONE with a Nimrod gauntlet he is wearing and he and his Purifiers move through the mansion looking for mutants to kill. The X-Men and New X-Men fight back but Onyxx and Cannonball are badly injured and Quill is killed. A hitch appears in Stryker's plan as Dust, whom he believed to be dead, proves to be very much alive and devastates his troops (X-23 disguised herself as Sooraya last issue). Elixir corrupts his healing touch by killing Stryker with his powers and his whole body turns from gold to black. Nimrod comes on-line and seeks out Forge.
