My Little Margie #11
In "Margie Inc.", My Little Margie finds herself caught in a high-stakes situation when the bank she’s working at is evacuated after a bomb threat—leaving Rubbernose, the guard, alone inside with only a whistle to signal danger. Written and illustrated by Art Helfant, this 1956 Charlton comic blends workplace comedy with a tense, suspenseful twist, all wrapped in the charming, quirky style of the era. Chic Stone’s cover captures the moment’s urgency, perfectly framing the scene with a classic mid-century flair.
