Kamala Khan throws an emphatic embiggened fist through a shower of shattering glass on Marguerite Sauvage's kinetic cover for this 2015 chapter of G. Willow Wilson's run, titled "Crushed." Dressed in her signature red-and-blue costume with the lightning-bolt sash, Kamala's expression is wonderfully caught mid-shout, with scattered Ms. Marvel comics tumbling at her feet — a playful nod to the character's own fan roots. Miyazawa's interior art and Ian Herring's colors make this series one of Marvel's most visually distinctive reads of 2015, and issue #13 looks to keep that energy going strong.
