The 2016 series (formally Vol. 4, though often listed under a 2015 series date due to its November 2015 on-sale date) was a direct editorial continuation of the 2014 run, relaunched as part of Marvel's All-New, All-Different initiative following the line-wide Secret Wars reset. The creative team carried over intact: writer G. Willow Wilson, interior artists Takeshi Miyazawa and Adrian Alphona (rotating), colorist Ian Herring, and letterer Joe Caramagna, with Axel Alonso serving as Editor-in-Chief. The cover of #1 was by Cliff Chiang, with several variant covers by artists including John Tyler Christopher, Joyce Chin, Jenny Frison, and Sara Pichelli. Wilson and editor Sana Amanat — whose own Pakistani-American upbringing had been foundational to the character's conception — originally expected the series to run roughly a year before cancellation; instead it ran continuously across both volumes for well over 50 issues.
