“The Light That Failed”

In "The Light That Failed," Tom Mix finds himself tangled in a mystery when horses begin vanishing one by one, with Husky and Gingo as the prime suspects. When Tony is kidnapped and Tom knocked out, the duo’s past grudge ignites a personal mission for Tom to clear his name and uncover the truth—leading him on a relentless pursuit through the desert with help from Doc Greene. Penciled by Carl Pfeufer and inked by John Jordan, this 1951 adventure blends Western suspense and old-school heroism, with a striking cover by Kurt Schaffenberger.
