In "Bushwacked," Tom Mix finds himself caught in a deadly standoff when the condemned outlaw Big Bletcher vows revenge on Judge Jody—just as Tom arrives to witness the sentence. Though the judge believes he can handle the threat, Tom stays on guard, only to race back when Big Bletcher escapes and attacks again. With the judge injured and needing care, Tom takes him to his ranch, unaware that the fugitive is still hunting him. Art by Carl Pfeufer and inks by John Jordan bring the tense Western drama to life in this 1988 tale.
