Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk share a crowded, kinetic cover here, with the raging green giant charging forward fists raised while a stunned Spider-Man recoils at his feet — and a wild-looking figure identified as Woodgod lurches in the background. The cover copy promises a "Nightmare in New Mexico!" and cheekily warns that Woodgod alone wasn't trouble enough before the Hulk entered the picture, setting up what looks like a chaotic three-way situation. It's a wonderfully energetic piece of 1977 Marvel craftsmanship, penciled and inked by Dave Cockrum and John Romita, with Bill Mantlo writing and John Byrne on interior art.
