The X-Men drop Spidey off at the top secret town of Liberty where a battle between Hulk and Woodgod is in full swing. Spider-Man, Hulk and Woodgod are captured by Major Tremens. Hulk and Woodgod escape, but Spider-Man is trapped in a rocket and is blasted into space.
