In "X-Men," Professor X discovers a new mutant and sends the X-Men to track them down, leading the team to a traveling carnival where they encounter the Blob. Though initially brought to the mansion as a potential recruit, the Blob refuses to join, declaring himself boss of his own circus — but when he learns the X-Men’s secret, Professor X fears the danger he poses and plans to erase his memory. Meanwhile, the Blob rallies his fellow performers, spurred on by the team’s actions, and launches an attack on the mansion. Written by Stan Lee and Michael Strittmatter, with iconic art by Jack Kirby and inks by Paul Reinman, this 2025 issue features a cover by Jack Kirby, Sol Brodsky, and Frank Giacoia.
