Nachdem Namor ein Forschungsschiff zerstört hat, welches für Seebeben verursacht hat, Teil der Crew sind auch Hank Pym und Janet Van Dyne. Janet die vermutet das Namor nach New York unterwegs ist um es zu zerstören, so fliegt sie in Richtung New York. Unterwegs wird sie von Attuma, Namors Erzfeind, gefangen genommen, der selbst mit seinem Gezeitenverstärker die Beben verursacht hat, und nun damit die Oberflächenwelt zu überfluten, und sich selbst zum Herrscher machen will. Da Attuma nicht weiß das er Wasp gefangen hat, kann sie sich befreien und die Rächer über Funk warnen...
