There, Ka-Zar intervenes when the Plunderer invades his territory, recognizing Daredevil’s costume and sparing his life—drawn in by a memory of a past encounter with the X-Men.

In "Das Geheimnis von Ka-Zars Herkunft!" from Marvel Origins #41 (2025), Daredevil awakens in a hidden cave, weakened and alone, tended to by Ka-Zar—only to be interrupted by Maa-Gor, the ape-man, hunting for food. When Plunderer appears, capturing Daredevil and revealing a shocking truth, Ka-Zar’s motives shift: he claims Daredevil is his long-lost brother, and the key to his survival lies in a mysterious object Daredevil carries.
