Spiderman y Gata Negra comienzan una relación romántica. Felicia ha robado un misterioso frasco al Doctor Octopus, y éste ataca a los amantes para recuperarlo, llevándose a la Gata. Spiderman intenta frenéticamente rastrear a la Gata y tiene que recurrir a Kingpin en busca de ayuda. Spiderman se involucra en la lucha de poder entre Octopus y el Búho, quienes compiten por el privilegio de hacer estallar una bomba. Octopus sale victorioso y el Búho queda gravemente herido. Cuando Octopus también lastima a Gata Negra, Spiderman finalmente se cansa del villano y le arranca los brazos mecánicos.
