Marvel Fanfare #13 brings one of 1984's most striking covers to the prestige anthology format, with Arthur Adams delivering a close-up portrait of a formidably armored villainess — her massive flowing hair, serpentine bracelet, horned helmet, and jagged dagger demanding immediate attention. Reflected in the polished surfaces of her armor are two smaller figures, a red-haired woman and what appears to be a costumed hero, hinting at the confrontations waiting inside. With interior work from George Pérez and a script by Ralph Macchio, this issue is a genuine showcase of the era's top-tier talent.
