Marvel Comics Presents #8 (1988) brings together two of Marvel's most atmospheric characters in one moody, swamp-drenched package. Charles Vess's cover art captures Wolverine in a low, feral crouch beneath a massive full moon, claws glinting and ready, while the looming, green-hued form of Man-Thing lurks ominously in the shadows behind him. It's a genuinely striking pairing that makes the most of both characters' wild, primal energy — and with the promise of "and more!" inside, there's plenty to look forward to beyond the lead story, "Save the Tiger Part 8: The Fight!
