Martian Manhunter #30
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe second chapter of "Altered Egos" arrives with a cover that pulls no punches: J'onn J'onzz, in his classic red-and-blue uniform with golden emblem, is locked in a fierce grapple with a snarling, feral-looking green-skinned figure whose red eyes and bared teeth radiate raw menace. Tom Mandrake's cover art — all jagged shadows and coiled tension — makes the clash feel genuinely unsettling, hinting at a confrontation that goes well beyond a simple physical fight. John Ostrander and Mandrake were deep into a strong creative run on this series by 2001, and this issue looks like a worthy continuation of it.
