Marmaduke Mouse #54

Marmaduke Mouse encounters Egbert, described as "the other half of this crooked team," at a railroad station. After Egbert suggests they fly rather than walk, Marmaduke declines, leading to a comedic encounter with Cousin Addelbert. Marmaduke later agrees to become a farmer after being convinced it's a healthy profession, but his lack of farming knowledge leads to chaos when he attempts the job. The story culminates in a physical altercation with a dog named King, whom Marmaduke initially mistakes for an enemy before discovering the dog has become attached to him.
