Marmaduke Mouse #23

Marmaduke Mouse and King Louie team up to capture the pirate Captain Catt and claim a thousand-dollar reward, but their efforts go comically awry when they accidentally cause destruction during their pursuit. The story shifts to reveal Egbert's origin—he was hatched as a chick and separated from his brother—and follows young Egbert as his mother sends him to school while warning him of wolves, leading to his discovery of Marmaduke and a lasting friendship.
